This abnormality results in malformation endochondral ossification. Achondroplasia is characterized by disproportionately short stature, lumbar lordosis, large head, midface hypoplasia, short hands, and normal cognitive development. Our report is about a 28-year-old patient with achondroplasia who underwent surgery for correction of kyphosis due to spinal canal stenosis.
