Tracheostomy was performed due to prolonged mechanical ventilation. Left lung atelectasis happened frequently. Because of the difficulty of bronchoscopy and failing of recruitment, using a double lumen, two tracheal tubes were guided into the left and right lungs through the tracheostomy stoma site.
